Personal Enrichment

Continue your education, in a fun and creative environment, learning and doing things you’ve always wanted to, with no tests or grades…just fun!  With over 50 classes to choose from, we provide flexible times and locations, to better fit your needs and schedule.

Classes are open to students of all ages, and are offered at our Niceville, Ft. Walton Beach, DeFuniak Springs, South Walton and Crestview campuses and centers. Classes range from the Creative Arts, Music, Languages, Food & Entertainment, History, Politics, Hobbies, and Computers.

Fitness and Wellness

Fitness and Wellness

Get in shape with fitness classes at the NWF Niceville, Ft. Walton Beach, Crestview, DeFuniak Springs and South Walton campuses and centers.  Motorcycle Safety

Motorcycle Safety (Basic Rider Course)

Motorcycle Safety Basic Rider Course is a 2 day course designed for beginning riders to complete their state-mandated safety course before receiving their motorcycle license.

This course will teach students how to operate a motorcycle safely and strongly emphasizes the special skills and mental attitude required for dealing with everyday riding. Participants will use bikes provided by NWF State College. Classes meet on the Niceville Campus, Building 710, Room 005 (Public Safety Driving Range).

Course Fee: $200

Junior Raiders

NWF State College offers several camps and programs for children, ranging from 1st grade to high school seniors.

Kids on Campus

Kids on Campus a unique opportunity for summer enrichment and fun learning in a college environment. As a “college kid,” you can choose from a variety of classes such as: athletics, hands-on science, fine & performing arts, academics and visual arts.  You can create your own schedule and can choose morning, afternoon or all day classes. Extended care is available in the mornings and/or afternoons. Kids on Campus is open to young learners entering 3rd – 8th grades. Camps are offered every June and July, and each camp runs for two weeks.

Youth Symphony

The Northwest Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra (NFSYO) provides an encouraging atmosphere where talent is nurtured and excellence is inspired. The NFSYO is open to middle school, high school, and early collegiate students through the age of 21. The NFSYO works in close collaboration with the music director and performers of the professional Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra (NFSO) to foster the development necessary for musical and personal success.

Sports Camps

NWF State College Raiders Athletics boasts award-winning teams in softball, baseball, men’s and women’s basketball – all Conference, State and National Winners!  We offer camps throughout the year for each of these sports. Each camp is specifically designed for different ages, and includes team and group camps, as well as individual coaching.
